CrystalScape app for iPhone and iPad

With CrystalScape you will be playing with molecules on your iPhone, iPad or iPad Touch. You can freely interact with them, measure their structure, download and share them with your friends and lots more.

CrystalScape draws molecules in a variety of ways. Biological models can be viewed as ribbons - a stylised presentation of complex biological structures. All molecules can be viewed as ball and stick, to show bonding, or CPK (also known as space-filling) and for some molecules, there is a polyhedral style.

CrystalScape has some serious science tools. You will be measuring atomic distances, bond angles, and selecting atoms and ribbons to see what they are. For supported molecules you can show crystal shape or diffraction patterns.

CrystalScape comes preloaded with a variety of biological, mineral and nanotechnological structures for your convenience. Use the built-in search tool to find and download biological and mineral molecules, or download them from the internet or your email. Use the share feature to send molecules to your friends and share the joy of science.
